Keep your coverage

Have you re-enrolled for Medicaid? Learn more about changes that could affect your coverage.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, people have been continuously enrolled in Medicaid without having to re-enroll or reapply for coverage. The Medicaid continuous enrollment provision has ended and now states can disenroll people who are no longer eligible or who are unable to complete the renewal process. This is called Medicaid Redetermination and it may affect your coverage.

To help keep you covered, or help you find the right coverage for you and your family, below are resources that may help.

Federal Government Resources:

The New Mexico Human Services Department is working closely with beWellnm, Medicaid Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), community organizations, and other state, tribal and local government agencies to provide the tools and information for HSD customers to know how and when to renew their benefits.

Everyone enrolled in Medicaid or SNAP will need to renew when notified.

  • When you are notified that it’s time to renew, sign in at yes.state.nm.us and click the Renew My Benefits button.
  • Questions? Call 1-800-283-4465, 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. MT, Monday through Friday.
