What sets our programming apart is our emphasis on cultural healing, peer support, and community reintegration through evidence-based and culturally grounded curriculums.
The Warrior Down program creates a response team focused on supporting individuals and helping reconnect them with recovery resources and services.
This peer-to-peer model is designed specifically to equip Native American and Alaska Native individuals in recovery with the tools needed to provide recovery support, reduce recidivism, and assist with community referrals for those re-entering the community from treatment or other forms of separation from family and community supports.
Mending Broken Hearts provides culturally based and holistic healing centered around grief, loss, and intergenerational trauma. The curriculum recognizes how unresolved grief can contribute to behavioral, emotional, physical, spiritual, and social challenges within individuals and communities. Through culturally grounded healing practices, participants are supported in addressing shame, trauma, and historical pain while rebuilding wellness and connection. At Las Cruces Recovery Center, we recognize the importance of honoring cultural identity, lived experiences, and service-related trauma while creating a safe and supportive environment for healing and long-term recovery.
